Over 40 alumni enjoyed an exciting game of winter volleyball on November 30. The OGS Interhouse volleyball tournament was played under lights at the KGS College Campus. Principle Mr. Glasson was present to lend his support throughout the evening.
The evening started with a special match featuring OGS vs KGS. OGS beat their old rivals KGS in a fiercely fought competition. Saquib Munawar, Yasir Minhaj and Hasnat Hassan were among the players representing OGS. The interhouse matches were played next. Frere beat Napier in two straight sets to win the interhouse games. The players all performed well and played enthusiastically.
OGs have a connection with each other that transcends time and geography. The match was a great opportunity to bring together alumni and allow them to interact with current students.

Spectators had a chance to enjoy hot, gourmet food served at the College Campus canteen, as they watched the match in the flood-lit volleyball field. Naazer Minhaj (Class of 1996) was pivotal in working with OGS Sports Sub Committee Chair, Maroof Mehboob, to put together the teams and the event. Staff member, Mr. Hasan Iqbal and KGS coach Mr. Abid Elahi, also helped organize the games and were present throughout.
The match was a wonderful expression of the cooperation and connection that exists between alumni and current students at KGS.
