Career Connect is an initiative for established OGs to support younger OGs learn about career paths and provide mentoring opportunities. Within a few years of completing their A levels, our young OGs graduate from college and enter professional life. Life beyond the structured academic environment can be confusing and daunting, and the role that mentors can play is often very helpful for young professionals looking to develop their career path.
OGS invites its members to sign up to be a voluntary mentor to other OGs. Participation and serving as a mentor involves:
- Availability to speak at an OGS career panel up to three times per year
- Willingness to meet other OGs occasionally to provide individual or group mentorship
